ALL DONATIONS will go into effect immediately helping Krista to pay for specialized medical treatments. She was first diagnosed in April of 2022 with breast cancer. She did chemo, radiation, she's had a Lumpectomy and then needed mastectomy.  She has had a sore shoulder for a few months, but like many busy moms, she carried on. Then on the weekend she went to open a pickle jar and her arm literally broke. She was taken by ambulance where they confirmed her arm behind the bicep broke in half and the bone looks irregular.  She has 6 lesions on the bones. 

To give you an idea of the costs involved, let me break it down for you. For just one immunotherapy procedure, the funds required for special order medications alone amount to approximately $23,848.07 USD. This is an essential component of the treatment and plays a crucial role in her recovery.

In addition, there are ancillary costs to consider. These cover the expenses for single-use probes, medical tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for the procedure. The total for these ancillary costs comes to around $3,200.00 USD.

Furthermore, when we factor in the procedure-related costs, such as the utilization of resources provided by the interventional radiology office and professional fees, the amount adds up to approximately $38,500.00 USD. These costs are unavoidable and necessary for the success of the treatment.

Considering all these factors, the total funds needed for just one treatment come to a staggering $67,000.00 USD. She has been advised to undergo two treatments as a baseline, with comprehensive follow-up and support post-treatments. This means that the overall financial burden becomes even more significant.

On top of the treatment costs, there are also travel expenses to take into account. This includes flight tickets, accommodation, and meals during the duration of the treatments. The estimated range for these travel expenses is $10,000-15,000.00 USD.

That adds up to well over $200,000.00 CDN.
