A Passionate Rower & Team Leader

A Dreamer and A Do-er

In 2001, Krista discovered her love for rowing when she enrolled in a learn-to-row program at Simon Fraser University. Her admiration for Canadian rowers Silken Laumann and Marnie McBean inspired her to pursue her dream of competing in the Olympics. After finishing her studies at SFU, Krista joined the National Team in Ontario and rapidly climbed the ranks.

In 2008, she participated in her first Olympics, an impressive achievement that highlighted her remarkable progress in the sport.

In 2012, she brought home the Silver Medal in the Women's 8 for Team Canada. It was an absolutely brilliant experience that let her move forward as a champion of her sport.
